Wine Description
Sit back and enjoy the relaxed vibe of this special Saint-Joseph red from the cuvée La Grotte aux Loups (“Cave of Wolves”). Elegant and fruity with aromas of red fruit and a spicy note to keep you interested. The Saint-Joseph wines are unique coming from a vast area of France that stretches from Valence to the Drôme – where the song of cicada birds will remind you that Provence is just a stone’s throw away – to the gates of the Rhône, a few kilometres from Lyon, the French capital of gastronomy. The Saint-Joseph is the beautiful result of a unique microclimate against the Rhône river. It acts as a radiator in winter, and air conditioner in summer.
We must also contribute its character to the work of the winegrowers who nurture and culture it, working the soil in the slopes of the terrace. Last but not least, the Syrah grape is an indigenous variety made from rustic blends from nearby Ardèche and Mondeuse Blanche of Savoie (all-mountain grape varieties). A great lineage for a wine connoisseur.
