This wine is excellent and rare! Pouilly Fumé is the standard taste of Sauvignon Blanc for lovers of this classic and sophisticated white wine. There is no other environment that gives this grape such a lively attack with notes of citrus and exotic fruits, followed by a roundness and voluptuous richness, and finally, a neat, unmistakable finish. The gold colour offers a beautiful clarity to this wine. The French usually drink red wine with cheese, which is often a shame, as white wines such as the Pouilly Fumé go very well with all the cheeses of the Loire Valley.
