Wine Description
Chardonnay, Domaine de Preigne, Pays d’Oc
Relaxed and cool, this wine is a taste of spring. Light floral notes, then refreshing fruit. A round, slightly saline palate promising nice pairings with grilled fish and shellfish. Great Chardonnays have always been produced in Burgundy; but in the south of France too, some good Languedoc winegrowers do offer “southern” Chardonnays. They are easy to drink in a relaxed way, in large glasses to see their clear colour. The “fat” of the wine (the alcohol that escapes) is present but discreet enough to favour a freshness that gives it a powerful twist.
