Burgundy Chardonnay, Côte Chalonnaise
A smart buy Côte Chalonnaise wine! An excellent white Burgundy at the right price made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. Fine pale golden colour with a fruity nose of grapefruit and lemon, with hints of honeysuckle and hawthorn.
This vineyard is close to the village of Puligny-Montrachet, which is home to the most expensive white wine in the world, the ever-so famous Montrachet – the climate and the soils are similar, but the wines are less famous and it is still possible to get good bargains here.
